CORNER-- This early 1900 Victorian house
has a large front porch perfect for relaxing and people-watching. Inside there is handsome polished wood detail, 11 foot ceilings, hardwood floors and tall windows. The bright, first floor guest room (15x14) has a double-size poster bed, desk, armoir, and comfy love-seat by the working corner fireplace. Guests use Duraflame logs purchased from the host. The guest bath with tub and shower is a few steps across the hall. The location for guests visiting MIT or Harvard is ideal: 10 min. walk to Central Square (and Red Line), 15 min. to Harvard Square and five minutes to Inman Square. Bus #68 stops a block away to take you directly to Harvard or Kendall Square. The Red Line from Central Square to Mass. General Hospital and the Boston Common will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Off-street parking space is available for a moderate sized car @ $10/day paid directly to host. There are excellent restaurants in every direction.
