This tasteful 1930 Colonial is graced by the Host's original paintings and artifacts collected during their world travels. Two 2nd floor guest rooms, spacious Queen and smaller Twin room. Both booked if related parties. A resident cat. Quiet location one block to BC Newton campus (free shuttle bus to main campus) and 1 mile to Chestnut Hill campus. Quick drive to airport, 8 min. drive to Boston and Cambridge.

From Logan Airport: The Ted Williams tunnel, an extension of the Mass. Turnpike (Rte I-90) which runs through Newton, is now open. This cuts the driving time from Newton to Logan Airport considerably; i.e., from Alderwood B&B to Logan can take just 12 minutes door-to-door. Also, this will improve driving time to Brookline, Cambridge and points west.

Custom-made shoji-style sliding doors with their warm translucency offer more privacy. It has a Queen bed, ceiling fan, cherry floor with in-floor heating and connecting bath with skylight, tub & shower. Guests are welcome to relax in the living room. This is a peaceful location across from Cold Spring Park, half mile to the Highlands village and Green Line-D subway station. Nearby are a variety of restaurants from 4 Star French cuisine to pizza parlors. Your hosts are hikers, bikers, tai chi teacher/artist and computer specialist.
